Wetlands Camp: Wetlands in the James River Parks System provide ripe ground for new adventures and discoveries. The spongy soil, murky waters, and wealth of animal habitat beckon forth new experiences for all who take a moment to stop and appreciate them. This week at virtual camp will provide time for students to engage with the wetlands in James River Park System independently and collaboratively with their households, and through online platforms with their peers and instructors. Through science, creation, and investigation, we’ll explore the river, woodlands, and animals that make up the lifeblood of our fair city. Using materials provided by JRPS staff, written instructions, and online portals, campers will get a full range of camp experiences.
