The Manchester Climbing Wall is one of three 19th Century trestles from the Richmond & Petersburg Railroad. Over 40 climbing routes have been established, with many having been set with bolts and shutts. The routes are welcoming to both new and experienced climbers, with routes offering practice spots for rappelling, top rope climbing, and leading.

Many routes can be conquered by novices, but the most challenging is Tendinitis, with a rating of 5.10d.

Easy for Beginners

The Ladder, the route closest to the James River, is perfect for those who have never climbed before.
