We’re Counting on You for Giving Tuesday

Today is Giving Tuesday, a day of global generosity where many different non-profit organizations make their pitch for why and how you should support the work they do.
Some Thanks from the Park Staff

The James River Park System staff shared memories and experiences with family in thanks to our region’s crown jewel.
A Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving has become one of my favorite holidays because giving thanks is such a huge part of my job. I am glad to be able to have this time to remind you how grateful I am for the opportunity to work with you in the JRPS.
What Does the Environment Mean to You?

Our JRPS education partners are hard at work developing an Environmental Literacy Plan for Richmond Public Schools, and we would appreciate your insight in the drafting process.
A Fall Update and Your Support

The Park is full of color and life this time of year and it is my favorite time to be outdoors. As we prepare for winter projects, I thought this would be a great time to update you all on what we have been up to.
Get Park Smart!

Much of the work that we do for the James River Park System revolves around improving, protecting, and enhancing the Park. Some of our work is stuff that you can’t fit onto a shovel or feel with your hands. It’s education.
A Most Excellent Summer

I am writing this on the last day of what has been an excellent Summer for FOJRP.
A 50th Birthday and a Day with Ralph White

We have 3 signature events to celebrate our 50th Anniversary.
