Please Support the James River Park @ Richmond City Council

On Monday, January 27, the James River Master Plan is being presented to Richmond City Council for its approval. This Master Plan, crafted with the input of park users from everywhere as well as each district of the City of Richmond, is a 10 year plan to protect, maintain and improve the James River Park System. Download the full plan HERE!

The Friends of the James River Park know there will be future requests for funding from the City to move the Master Plan forward. We want City Council to know how strong that support is. Please come tell City Council why you love the James River Park and why you support the Master Plan. You may speak for up to 3 minutes once the Council president announces the public comment period. No sign up is necessary. You can see the full City Council agenda here.

Here is the address:

Richmond Council Chambers
Richmond City Hall, 2nd floor
900 E. Broad St.
Richmond, Virginia 23219

The meeting starts at 6.p.m. We hope to see you there!
