FrogWatch

This event is a JRPS Education Program. All attendees must register in advance. Please email programs@jamesriverpark.org to reserve your spot.

Join the James River Park System for FrogWatch – a community science program that invites volunteers to learn to identify frog calls. With this training, you will learn about how amphibians are indicators for ecological health, learn monitoring techniques, and practice identifying the calls of frogs and toads local to Richmond. Once trained, you’ll be ready to contribute valuable data to a nationwide effort to protect and track amphibians. No prior experience needed!
