Bryce is Moving Up!

We bring this as both good news and bad: James River Park Superintendent Bryce Wilk has accepted the position of Parks and Recreation South Division Maintenance and Operations Manager. You may recall that when Nathan Burrell left us, this is where he went. When he went to the Department of Conservation and Recreation, Michael Burton assumed that role in an acting capacity. Bryce will now officially assume that role.

He’ll be missed…but!!!

He will now oversee the respective superintendents of Trails and Greenways, Forest Hill and South Division Maintenance, Community Gardens, and our next James River Park Superintendent. He remains committed to continuing his work to support, grow and implement our Master Plan, and will still be a valuable resource and presence throughout the Park.

We congratulate him on his new position, wish him the very best of luck, and very much look forward to his continued impact on the future of the James River Park.
