Artist in Residence June Workshop

Come explore your creativity, enjoy the park, and get inspired in an on-site Creative Workshop facilitated by the park’s Artist-in-Residence, Shay Wilson, on Sunday, June 23 from 2:00-3:30 pm. This fun workshop is appropriate for all skill levels. We will meet at 2 pm at the 42nd street entrance off of Riverside Drive in Forest Hill. Bring your sketch book, pencils, paints, and any other tools you choose to be creative with. You will be led through a series of creative exercises as you sit in nature along the river and engage with the James River Park in a creative, intentional way.

Can’t make it? These workshops will be held monthly so stay tuned for the next workshop.

If you have questions you can contact Shay at shaywilsonart@gmail.com.
