Held 20 feet up, Views from the Treehouse is Richmond Outside’s latest creation. The multi-episode video series features conversations with RVA’s outdoor leaders and most recently featured an hour-long conversation with Park superintendent Nathan Burrell.
Some topics covered include the Park’s history, conservation easement and its impact, relationship to the community at large, extensive community support, drive to fund a Park master plan, and future.
We need to do more to instill a culture of sustainability in our Park users.
This Earth Day, we are launching a special campaign to rally support for increasing our capacity to support the James River Park System.
We have an immediate opportunity to expand the Park, and we need you to help us make it happen! The available parcel is a 4.5-acre piece of land, known as the Brander Street Property, that sits between Ancarrow’s Landing and I-95.
