Thank You for a Great Wood River Run!

Dear Friends of the James River Park-

I know many of you are getting back out into the Park more often now that the weather is getting nicer, and we love to see it. This weekend about 200 of you joined us at our second iteration of the Wood River Run 5K at Pony Pasture Park. It was nice to catch up with some of you that day and we really appreciate the extra support for this wonderful cause.

This year we raised a little over $43,000 in memory of Christian Wood. This funding will be used to send kids from low-income families to Passages Adventure Camp, to buy new equipment for our JRPS Education team, and to support our mission. FOJRP is proud to make this annual event happen, and we appreciate your continued support of our work.

This would not have been possible without the work of a lot of people. I especially want to thank our sponsors, The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation and C&F Bank. I also want to thank Rocket Pop Media, and Peace Frogs for their support again this year.

Your donations to FOJRP make a difference in the JRPS and I look forward to delivering our mission every single day. Thank you!
