Hunter Applewhite & Team: ParkStars

The James River Park System is enjoyed by everyone in our community. And our volunteers are individuals, community groups, and members of our business community. Hunter Applewhite represents one such business in Richmond, and ably demonstrates their commitment to our City and beloved Park.

Hunter and his team at the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation have made a huge impact on the Richmond community. Their support for organizations like Friends of the James River Park have been transformative, and Dominion employees are some of this city’s most frequent volunteers. In addition to their support for River Rock, Cap2Cap, and other community events, this year they became the title sponsor for FOJRP’s Wood River Run. This sponsorship further demonstrates their commitment to the urban wilderness that surrounds their headquarters in downtown Richmond. FOJRP is proud to make Hunter and the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation our April Park Star!
