Dear Friends of James River Park,

Part of our job at Friends of the James River Park is to build a sustainable and diverse fundraising system that will allow us to always provide the resources necessary to make a difference in the Park. In support of that goal, we are always coming up with new ways for people to get involved. I am excited to be able to announce one more way that you can make a difference for the JRPS, and it comes just in time for the holidays!

Back in October I had the chance to meet artist Sheryl Stalnaker. I took her on a tour through some of my favorite spots on the James where she painted en plein air, and she has now completed a series of original oil paintings of different sizes. Sheryl and her gallery are donating a portion of the proceeds from The James River Collection directly to FOJRP to protect, expand and enhance the James River Park System.
