For over five decades, the James River Park System has provided inspiration to the millions who have hiked its trails, biked its paths, and paddled its rapids. What began as a donation of 380 acres has grown to well over 600 acres of urban wilderness.
Few have captured the magic of the Park as well as Friends of the James River Park System board member and photographer Bill Draper. Each year, we’ve invited our region’s best artists to choose one of his images as inspiration to create an original work of art.
Camera to Canvas brings those images and works together for a charity auction that benefits our mission. You will have the opportunity to bid on photos, original artwork, and a host of experience and gift packages in both live and silent auctions.
Join us at Camera to Canvas for an evening of art, hors d’oeuvres, and cocktails.
Mark your calendars. More details will be announced over the summer.
