YOU’RE INVITED! James River Park Community Meetings

You’re invited, and we want to hear from you!  Park users and friends – about your vision for the Park. We will be holding Community Meetings in each of the city’s nine districts. Visit our Facebook page for up-to-date event information. Registration is not required.

Feb. 12, 6 – 7:30 pm: 2nd District Community Meeting
Location: Redskins Training Camp, 2401 W Leigh St, Richmond, VA 23220

Feb. 19, 6 – 7:30 pm: 8th District Community Meeting
Location: Hickory Hill Community Center, 3000 E Belt Blvd, Richmond, VA 23234

Feb. 27, 6 – 8 pm: 1st District Community Meeting
Location: Mary Mumford Elementary School, 211 Westmoreland Avenue, Richmond, VA 23226

Feb. 28, 6 – 8 pm: 3rd District Community Meeting
Location: Ginter Park Library, 1200 Westbrook Ave, Richmond, VA 23227

March 6, 6 – 8 pm: Additional public meeting
Planning team will discuss input received to date
Location: Virginia War Memorial, 621 S Belvidere St, Richmond, VA 23220

The Friends of the James River Park is coordinating the effort to develop and implement a Park Master Plan in partnership with Falls of the James Scenic River Advisory Committee, James River Association (JRA), RVAMORE, James River Outdoor Coalition (JROC), James River Advisory Council (JRAC), the James River Work Group of the Capital Region Collaborative, and the City of Richmond.
